Suffering from the Winter Blues?

Try taking an Omega 3-6-9 Supplement or a Fish Oil Supplement.  These fats help to keep the brain healthy and improves mood.  Also great for weight loss, energy and endurance.

Try adding Maca into your diet.  Maca is an adaptogenic root from peru which helps the body to adapt to any physical, mental, emotional and environmental stress.  Excellent source of vitamins and minerals and also great for hormone balancing.

During the winter our serotonin levels are 40% lower than they would be during the warmer seasons.  Try 5-HTP, a natural precursor to serotonin for improving mood.  Also remember that taking a Vitamin D supplement is great during the winter months as there is less sunlight for our bodies to use as a source of Vitamin D.

Back to School!

Fall has arrived, which means the kids are headed back to school!
With most schools holding a strict “no peanuts or nuts of any kind” lunch policy and with more and more parents finding out their children have allergies, lunches have become a difficult task.
Eight foods account for 90% of all allergic reactions, says The Food Allergy Network. Peanuts are the leading cause of allergies. The Top 8 allergens are:
1)Peanuts
2)Tree Nuts (walnuts & pecans)
3)Shellfish
4)Eggs
5)Milk
6)Soy
7)Wheat
8)Pork/Beef
We have devised some nut-free, allergen-free lunch/snack ideas that hopefully may provide you with some ideas!
